WWII Purple Heart Medal For Sale Grouping to ID'd PTO Gunner w/ Ribbon bar

A very interesting PTO USAAF gunner grouping up for sale. This grouping is ID'd to a Tennessee veteran who was an aerial gunner in the pacific during the war. The Purple Heart medal is a slot brooch pinback with the original zinc pinback ribbon bar, the lapel pin, and also the Pacific Theater of Operations Campaign Ribbon with w/ campaign star. Included are two photos of the vet in uniform, and also a newspaper article from his hometown paper detailing how he was wounded and other war stories of his that he reported back to his mother in the States. A beautiful all original grouping.
