WWII Item Identification Assistance

Not only do we help families discover their veteran's history, but we also assist militaria collectors with researching items in their collections. Here is an example of a recent one that came to us.

This item was presented to me as being simply a named 8th Army Air Force Bombardier's uniform jacket. After countless hours of research, the man was identified as Edward J. Strzyzewski of the 748th Bombardment Squadron in the 457th Bomb Group. He flew on roughly 30 missions. We were able to uncover all of the Operational Loading lists and mission narratives for this man. We also located his obituary, photo's of his plane that he flew on during the war, and several other military documents pertaining to him.
